MT / Pathology Laboratory Services Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced MT / Pathology Laboratory Services Manager to oversee all aspects of laboratory operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely diagnostic services while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
You will lead a team of approximately 25 FTEs within the Molecular Laboratory, providing both technical and operational direction in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, workflow, and team performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, FDA, TJC, CMS, OIG)
- Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and financial performance
- Collaborate with faculty, leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Support expansion of molecular testing capabilities and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
- Current ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification
- Minimum 5 years of laboratory leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
- Experience in laboratory operations, quality management, and financial oversight
