School Psychologist (ESY) – Summer 2026 (Summer School); AND/OR the 26/27 School Year!
Location: Sebring, Florida
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (In-Person Only); Traditional school hours during the school year***
Dates: June 1, 2026 – June 25, 2026 (Summer) Aug 10, 2026 - May 27, 2027 (School Year)
Compensation: $60 per hour (Contract)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Highlands County, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing psychological services and supporting student success across K-12 populations.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Florida Certified School Psychologist
- School-based experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Participate in needs assessment activities, intervention planning, and service delivery for students
- Serve as a member of Child Study, Collaborative Problem Solving, eligibility, and IEP teams
- Support implementation of the district's Exceptional Student Education (ESE) plan
- Select, develop, and modify psychological assessment materials to address diverse student needs
- Conduct evaluations and assist in identifying appropriate educational supports and services
- Develop intervention strategies for parents and teachers that promote student engagement and achievement
- Assist schools and district personnel in responding to changing curriculum and service needs
- Maintain required records, documentation, and reports
- Implement and coordinate school-wide and district-wide psychological services and activities
