Position Overview:
- Partner with general education teachers to provide specialized instruction and modifications within an inclusive classroom setting.
- Lead small-group sessions focused on executive functioning skills and provide direct instruction for core subjects in a self-contained environment.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); utilize specialized software (IEP Direct) to collect, analyze, and report on student data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Connecticut Special Education Certification (165 Endorsement Required)
- Proven experience with IEP data collection and proficiency in IEP management software
- Prior experience in various classroom environments, ranging from co-teaching to self-contained settings (Preferred)
