Position Overview:
- Provide 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile student, including continuous monitoring and management of tracheostomy care and ventilator support.
- Administer scheduled G-tube feedings and manage supplemental oxygen therapy as required by the student's individualized healthcare plan.
- Maintain constant awareness to identify and respond immediately to respiratory distress or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain precise medical logs and coordinate with school staff to ensure health needs are integrated seamlessly into the school day.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Proven proficiency in ventilator dependency and tracheostomy care (Required)
- Previous 1:1 care or school-based nursing experience (Preferred)
