Cross Country Education is looking for a passionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated, one-on-one support for a vibrant student in Stafford Springs, CT for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Overview:
- Provide 1:1 medical and physical support to an individual student, ensuring their emotional comfort and safety while assisting with mobility transfers and gait-trainer utilization.
- Monitor the student's health needs, including seizure management protocols, and coordinate necessary supplies and adaptive equipment to support a successful school experience.
- Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher to support the student’s daily access to education, maintaining an active, hands-on presence throughout the school day.
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications
- Experience working in educational, pediatric, or healthcare settings (Preferred)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including the capability to safely lift and transfer up to 50 lbs.
