Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo (GREAT FALLS, Montana) is a vital member of the healthcare team responsible for performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, and assisting in transesophageal echocardiography. This position requires adherence to established practices and procedures, providing preliminary diagnostic evaluations, and collaborating with cardiologists to determine examination requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: GREAT FALLS, Montana
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: No experience required; valid certification as an ultrasonographer or echocardiogram technician; Montana state licensure or ability to obtain licensure; candidates must have a current license at the time of start date
- Responsibilities include performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, assisting with transesophageal echocardiography, providing preliminary diagnostic evaluations, and notifying cardiologists of examination results
- Position will require call rotation, minimum of 10 days per month, to include holiday rotation
- Additional Information: The role involves adherence to facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols, and requires effective communication with cardiology providers and team members
