Job Summary

Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) The organization is seeking a qualified physical therapist to provide inpatient physical therapy services at a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, developing, and implementing treatment plans for patients, participating in clinical programs, and supervising related staff and students to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Required Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses: Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure; BLS certification from AHA.


• Education/Skills: Bachelors, Masters, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university in the area of Physical Therapy is required.


• Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 5 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.


• Responsibilities include performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting patient evaluations and progress, participating in care conferences, and overseeing student programs and departmental operations.


• Knowledge of clinical and community resources, adherence to performance improvement activities, and effective communication with patients and staff are essential.


• The candidate must demonstrate competency to meet the age-specific and developmental needs of the patient population served.


• The position begins on 09/14/2026 and ends on 12/12/2026.
