Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) in a healthcare setting. This role involves supporting cardiology procedures in a fast-paced environment, including scrubbing in and/or panning during interventional procedures such as revascularizations, diagnostic, and peripheral interventions. The position requires technical expertise and collaboration with cardiologists and other clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: BLS, RCIS or ARRT (ARRT must be registered with the NDMIRT). RCIS credentialed clinicians will not be responsible for panning/activating fluoroscopy and do NOT need an ND License. ARRT credentialed clinicians may be responsible for panning/activating fluoroscopy and are REQUIRED to hold an active ND Rad Tech License.
• Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Certified as a Radiologic Technologist with a valid ND Radiologic Technologist License (if ARRT credentialed). Minimum of 1 year of experience in a catheterization laboratory environment.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule is from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with call responsibilities including 1-2 weeknights per week (3:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.), every third weekend, and every other holiday.
• Additional Responsibilities: Scrubbing in and/or panning for interventional cardiology procedures such as revascularization, LHC, RHC, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, cardioversion, TEE, device placements, and pericardiocentesis. Experience with IV starts is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of equipment including EPIC & Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, and 4 quart manifold is required.
• On-Call Requirements: 20-minute response time, with additional on-call responsibilities on weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Orientation: One week of department-specific training, including classroom and lab work.
• Additional Notes: Lead will be provided, and candidates should bring their own lock for the locker and hospital-designated shoes. A radius rule of 50 miles applies, and candidates may not hold full-time, part-time, or PRN positions with associated facilities connected to the organization during this assignment. Upfront RTO (Request for Time Off) is required for 7 or fewer days within a 13-week contract.
