Job Summary
Kenosha, WI CT Technologist. This position involves working independently in a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center, providing computed tomography (CT) imaging services. The role requires operating advanced scanner equipment, transporting patients, and supporting clinical workflows for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
Job Details
- Location: Kenosha, WI
- Shift: Rotating shifts, including hours from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT registered)
- Education & Experience: Basic CT principles and practices; peripheral IV starts with IV contrast injection skills; two years of experience with Canon (Toshiba) scanners and Medrad Stellant injectors is beneficial; EPIC experience preferred
- Responsibilities include operating Canon/Toshiba 40 & 80 slice scanners, supporting patient flow, and maintaining clinical documentation via EPIC
- Support on the Unit: Department supervisor involvement
- Orientation: At least one shift to learn workflow and protocols
- Scrub Color: Any
- Support Support on the Unit: Department supervisor
- Technical skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with experience in contrast injections and peripheral IV placement
