Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Robinson, Illinois. This position entails providing specialized Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with physicians' orders and departmental policies. The therapist will assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders, utilizing therapeutic procedures, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift hours, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois Respiratory Therapist License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience; strong computer skills with experience in electronic medical record (EMR) programs; at least 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work independently, prioritize, and complete tasks timely; excellent communication and customer service skills
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The role involves performing respiratory assessments, administering medications, conducting tests such as lung capacity and cardiac monitoring, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Candidates will participate in performance improvement activities and assist with departmental equipment maintenance and calibration.
