Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) position is located in a healthcare facility and involves providing specialized support in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. The role requires experienced professionals to assist in a range of cardiovascular interventions, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Job Details
- Certifications: ARRT R (Radiologic Technologist), BLS, CCI or ARRT (Kansas license required if ARRT), valid Kansas or Compact Registered Nurse license, valid Allied license if submitting to allied job
- Education and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular setting, with at least 1 year of specific cath lab experience
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, with at least 40 hours per week
- Responsibilities include accessing/managing ports, angioplasty, cardiac ablation, cardiac stent placement, carotid stenting, catheter/drain exchange, central venous access, chest tube placement, cystoscopy, dialysis graft procedures, embolization, endovascular interventions, GI procedures, pacemaker insertion, and other advanced cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures
- Additional qualifications include experience with specialized equipment such as Cannon Cath Labs, Siemens Interventional Radiology Labs, Philips EP Lab, Boston Scientific IVUS and IFR, and Shockwave catheters
- Candidates should be prepared for potential float to other units within their scope as needed, with a brief orientation provided on each unit during onboarding
- Submission must include valid licenses and RTO (Request for Time Off) documented at the time of application
