We are expanding our Energy Services team and are looking for Outside Sales help delivering energy solutions starting with Home and Business Standby Generators- with the potential to also sell our other services such as solar, general electrical, energy audits and retrofits, environmental services, etc.
With an aging electrical grid and severe weather events on the rise, the demand for reliable backup power has never been greater. We're looking for driven, customer-focused Outside Sales Representatives to help homeowners and businessowners take control of their power needs.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing your own leads as well as handling company provided leads, and expanding our market presence through strategic territory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Understand our product and financing products to expert levels.
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Manage existing company leads to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Represent Cromwell during onsite consultations with customers.
- Educate customers on the benefits of standby power and assess their needs to recommend the best solution.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals that lead to closed deals.
- Follow-up on leads tenaciously and keep organized.
- Work closely with our support teams to ensure seamless installation and customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Close sales deals effectively and honestly.
- Work clients for referrals.
Qualifications
- 2 years of proven experience in in trades such as Generators, Electrical, HVAC, Solar, or related fields
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Great computer skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A positive attitude and a self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset.
