Specifically, we are looking for three types of individuals:
The first is Customer Service Agent or CSA. A great CSA will come to work and greet our Airline passengers with a smile and provide them with exceptional customer service regardless of the scenario. From the moment a ticket is sold, to checking passengers in at the ticket counter, boarding them at the gate, and then welcoming them back home upon on their return, this employee will make sure our passenger's needs are taken care of and do everything in their power to make sure the passenger's trip was a safe and enjoyable experience. Individuals who are successful as CSAs often get compliments from passengers even after long delays or other less pleasant situations that are at times unavoidable in the Airline business.
The second type of individual we are looking for is someone that is comfortable working outside in variable weather conditions and safely operating the machinery necessary to transport passenger's property (luggage) to their destination. We call this position Ground Operations Agent or GOA. This type of employee needs to be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs and have a good track record of situational awareness and safety as they will be routinely operating around aircraft and passengers. Individuals most successful as GOAs tend to be very dependable, semi-athletic, and able to keep working diligently until the job is done.
The third type of individual needed is someone that is good at both the CSA and the GOA skillset. Simply put, they excel at providing great customer service as well as being able to handle activity outside on the ramp. We call these agents Cross Trained Agents or CUAs for short. Most of our available positions fall into this category.
To qualify for these positions, you must:
Have a high school diploma or GED
Have a valid driver's license
Be at least 18 years old
Pass a post offer pre-employment background check, including finger printing and a criminal history record check as required by Federal law
Pass a post offer pre-employment drug test
Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 50 lbs
Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 100 lbs
Be authorized to work in the US
Possess basic computer skills
Have strong verbal communications
Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Job Type: Part-time
