CRJ Aviation LLC is currently hiring for cross utilized agents for the La Crosse Wisconsin Regional Airport. . Specifically, we are looking for applicants that can fulfill both of the following job duties.
The first set of job duties include Customer Service Agent or CSA. A great CSA will come to work and greet passengers with a smile while providing exceptional customer service regardless of the scenario. From booking tickets, checking in passengers at the ticket counter, boarding at the gate, and then welcoming them back home upon their return. CSAs ensure that passenger's needs are taken care of and do everything in their power to make sure the passenger's trip was a safe and enjoyable experience. Successful CSAs often receive compliments from passengers even after long delays or less pleasant situations that are at times unavoidable in the airline business.
The second set of job duties include Ground Operations Agent, or GOA. A good GOA is someone that is comfortable working outside in various weather conditions while operating equipment to service an aircraft and load luggage onto the plane. GOAs need to be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs and showcase a good track record of situational awareness and safety as they will be routinely operating around aircraft and passengers. Individuals most successful as GOAs tend to be very dependable, semi-athletic, and able to keep working diligently until the job is done.
Individuals applying for the Cross Utilized Agent (CUA) position should be able to fulfill the responsibilities of both CSAs and GOAs. Simply put, we are looking for individuals who excell at providing great customer service as well as being able to handle activity outside on the ramp.
To qualify for this position, you must:
Have a high school diploma or GED
Have a valid driver's license
Be at least 18 years old
Pass a post offer pre-employment background check, including finger printing and a criminal history record check.
Pass a post offer pre-employment drug test
Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 50 lbs
Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 100 lbs
Be authorized to work in the US
Possess basic computer skills
Have strong verbal communication skills
Be willing to work a rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, split shifts, delays and some holidays.
