What are the responsibilities and job description for the Color Print Operator position at Crisp Imaging?
The Color Print Operator will be responsible for receiving and reviewing orders, processing color print work, operate multiple types of print machines and communicate with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be creative, have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain digital print machines.
- Contact vendors for machine consumables and repairs when needed.
- Review job tickets and verify all instructions, materials, and timelines are available for successful production.
- Preflight clientele files for print production.
- Manage production workflow; meeting deadlines efficiently and accurately.
- Execute orders according to job ticket efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure quality of goods meet clientele satisfaction and industry level standards.
- Maintain a high level of communication with sales associates, project managers, and clientele; providing professional guidance on capabilities, scheduling, and solutions for success.
- Provide assistance to team members with various duties when possible.
- Package goods for safe delivery to clientele.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year minimum of digital printing experience required.
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, and Acrobat or equivalent is desired.
- Working knowledge of inkjet and toner-based printing preferred.
- Experience with roll-to-roll and flatbed printing preferred.
- Experience with RIP (Raster Image Processing) software preferred.
- Knowledge of color theory and fundamentals of color and profiling preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be committed to quality and outstanding customer service.
- Attention to details & ability to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
- Strong organizational skills in a deadline-based environment
- Ability to function and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
