Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Houseman to join our team in Wilmington, DE. The Houseman will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and amenities to guest rooms and other departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from guest rooms and public areas promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms are clean and well-stocked.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces as needed.
• Support other departments with various tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment

This position requires physical activity including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for long periods. The Houseman will work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
