SUMMARY
The Case Management & Billing Assistant provides administrative support in managing client benefit applications, personal allowance tracking, and assisting with financial documentation for individuals. Additionally, this position helps monitor and track billing invoices for clients to ensure accuracy and timely submission. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing sensitive client data.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management Support:
- Assist with completing and submitting Medicaid, SSI, and SNAP applications and renewals.
- Assist with applications for funding in the community or grants.
- Gather necessary documentation from clients, guardians, and care teams for applications.
- Track benefit eligibility statuses and re-certification deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of personal allowance disbursements and assist the Representative Payee with documentation.
- Organize and securely store all case management paperwork in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate with internal staff to ensure up-to-date service documentation and client records.
Billing Monitoring:
- Monitor and track invoices submitted for services.
- Review billing logs to ensure accurate and complete documentation before submission.
- Communicate with the Billing liaison regarding missing or incorrect billing data.
- Maintain records of submitted invoices and payment status.
- Assist with identifying and resolving any discrepancies in client billing records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Experience with public benefit programs (Medicaid, SSI, SNAP) is strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of medical or behavioral health billing processes, particularly Medicaid.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general data entry software.
- Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially and comply with HIPAA requirements.
- Effective communication and follow-up skills.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
