Position: Full-time HousekeeperSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pmLocation: Darien, CTSalary: $35/hour Overview:Couple is seeking live-out Housekeeper with experience in a formal household. The successful candidate will be a highly organized self-starter with in-depth knowledge of household cleaning and solid experience in the upkeep of fine homes. The Housekeeper must adopt client’s preferences of service: bed making, laundry and wardrobe organizing. The ideal candidate will be one who pays great attention to detail and has thorough knowledge of household cleaning and maintenance processes, tools and best practices. Duties:· Full-service housekeeping, with an eye for aesthetics · Handle systematic housekeeping & periodic deep cleaning · Laundry: ironing (including sheet), hand washing delicates, dry cleaning· Knowledge of care and cleaning techniques for antiques, artwork and specialty surfaces· Vacuuming, dry/wet mopping, and floor care· Disinfecting and cleaning bathrooms and vanities· Table setting and occasional serving Key Success Factors:· Long-term intent· Discreet and respectful of employer’s privacy · Have a positive attitude and eager to serve· Good time management skills· Able to communicate well in English · Possess a keen eye for detail
