About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for a Store Warehouse associate in Auburn, WA. This operational position oversees store showroom floor staging, incoming furniture receipt, product assembly, and customer pickup fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities (Warehouse & Floor Support):

• Safely unload delivery trailers, inspect shipping manifests, and transport furniture into retail holding bays.
• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to move, place, and stage showroom displays according to floor plans.
• Assemble furniture pieces and inspect merchandise to verify brand quality standards prior to customer delivery.
• Execute minor product touch-ups, hardware adjustments, and repackaging to keep floor stock pristine.
• Maintain an organized, hazard-free warehouse backroom adhering strictly to company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities (Customer Pickup & Logistics):

• Greet retail shoppers at the customer pickup bay and carefully load purchased merchandise into their vehicles.
• Stage and verify scheduled orders for home delivery routes to ensure complete and accurate shipments.
• Operate material handling equipment, dollies, and pallet jacks safely in compliance with facility standards.
• Complete routine warehouse checklists and participate in bi-annual inventory audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Physical capability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver merchandise weighing up to 100 lbs during shifts.
• Comfort using hand and light power tools for furniture assembly, leveling, and minor adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail regarding inventory tags, manifest verification, and product care.
• Courteous, helpful, and customer-focused demeanor when interacting with retail guests.
• Commitment to workplace safety rules, safe lifting techniques, and wearing required PPE.
