The Company is looking for a WMS IT Analyst to support daily warehouse operations and ensure the warehouse management system (WMS) runs smoothly. This role is hands-on - ideal for someone who has spent time on the warehouse floor, understands how orders flow from receiving to shipping, and can help troubleshoot, train, and improve system usage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary WMS point of contact for configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Train warehouse staff on system workflows and ensure consistent, accurate usage.
- Support daily operational reporting and data accuracy in Microsoft Excel.
- Work closely with supervisors and leads to identify and fix process bottlenecks.
- Communicate with IT and software vendors when system issues arise.
- Maintain user permissions and help roll out new system features or updates.
- 2-5 years of experience working in a warehouse or 3PL environment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); familiarity with Extensiv (formerly 3PL Central) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and order flow.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (reporting, formulas, lookups, macros, etc.).
- Comfortable training and supporting warehouse teams on WMS system.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Hands-on WMS "super user” who learned systems through real warehouse experience.
- Practical, resourceful, and comfortable switching between IT troubleshooting and floor operations.
