About The Role
A Store Planner for our Retail team will oversee a team of allocation analysts and drive inventory distribution strategy across an assigned region within the U.S. and Canada retail network. This role ensures that the right products are placed in the right stores at the right time to maximize sales and profitability while minimizing markdowns and transfers. The Store Planner will regularly analyze sales trends and partner closely with buyers to inform allocation decisions, while also collaborating with merchandise financial planning to align with broader financial targets.
What You'll Do
Monitor and proactively adjust store inventory by product category based on capacity constraints, sales trends, promotional activity, and seasonality. Utilize allocation systems to execute distribution strategies and maintain consistent product flow to stores.
Identify opportunities to improve allocation processes and partner with leadership to implement best practices. Ensure updates are documented and communicated effectively across the allocation team.
Coach and develop allocation analysts to support team growth and performance.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with merchandising, planning, and store operations teams to align on inventory strategies. Collaborate on product lifecycle management, including markdown execution and inventory consolidation.
Participate in demand forecasting and assortment planning by contributing insights on pre-season buys and allocation strategies using localized store performance data.
Analyze sales trends, forecasts, and inventory performance to make data-driven allocation decisions. Develop reporting and communicate key insights to senior leadership.
Partner with supply chain and store operations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product to stores.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
5 years of experience in retail allocation, inventory management, or a similar function.
Demonstrated experience leading, training, and developing team members.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and drive decisions.
Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with allocation tools such as O9, Blue Yonder, or Oracle Retail.
Compensation
Experience in retail is preferred but not required.
$85,000–$110,000 base salary
