- Solicits outbound freight in order to manage network balance while maintaining a high level of service.
- Interacts with customers and addresses any concerns or issues.
- Forecasts potential customer needs and proactively works to address those needs.
- Responds promptly to customer inquiries and request.
- Processes customer orders with required information to properly pick up and deliver goods.
- Schedules all loading and unloading appointments.
- Tracks all shipments while under dispatch from pick up to deliver.
- Travels as needed.
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Receives and carries out instructions.
- Manages regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned
