We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spot Welder to join our manufacturing and assembly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing precision fitting and spot welding using D17.2 processes. This role requires the ability to interpret complex 2D and 3D engineering drawings, conduct quality inspections, and meet stringent welding standards including AWS D17.2 qualifications.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Perform spot welding using D17.2 processes on assemblies.
Ability to conduct Surface Resistance Testing, Visual Inspection of Resistance Welds, Mechanical Testing of Resistance Weld, and Metallographic Examination of Resistance Welds
Interpret and work from 2D and 3D engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Use a variety of inspection tools including feeler gauges, dial calipers, weld profile gauges, and tape measures to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Load fixtures and components using overhead cranes and rigging equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
Carry out grinding, fitting, spot welding, and mechanical assembly tasks as part of the manufacturing process.
Monitor and verify part quality using statistical process control (SPC) or other established procedures.
Prepare materials and ensure proper alignment prior to welding operations.
Maintain welding machines and hand tools; report issues requiring maintenance or repair.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Accurately complete all required documentation, including weld logs, inspection reports, and production records.
Must be able to demonstrate and pass welder qualification tests in accordance with AWS D17.2.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or welding certification preferred.
Proficient in reading and understanding technical and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with inspection and measurement tools for weld and part verification.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and flexible hours as required.
Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, heat, grinding, and noise.
PPE required at all times.
May require extended hours or weekend work to meet production schedules.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GAAP and managing technical accounting issues, and financial statement preparation. As a key contributor to our organization in the Aerospace and Defense industry, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial integrity and reporting accuracy.
Essential Job Functions
Financial Operations: Managing daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing and analyzing financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual), tracking, and analyzing financial information, and creating financial reports based on data analysis.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulations, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and managing tax filings and regulatory compliance.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist the Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Team Leadership and Management: Supervising, training, and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.
Strategic Collaboration: Collaborating with finance and leadership teams to optimize financial performance and provide financial insights and recommendations to support company goals.
