The Head Teller oversees the daily teller operations of the branch while setting the tone for exceptional customer service. This individual leads by example, supports team development and ensures operational integrity – all while creating a welcoming experience for every customer who walks through the doors.
Duties:
· Supervise and support the teller team in daily operations
· Ensure accurate transaction processing and balanced cash drawers.
· Oversee vault management, cash ordering, and branch cash limits.
· Maintain compliance with bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements.
· Mentor tellers to strengthen performance and customer service skills.
· Assist customers with complex transactions and problem resolutions.
· Foster a positive, team-oriented branch culture.
· Support branch leadership in meeting service and operational goals.
Essential Requirements:
· Minimum 2-3 years of teller experience, supervisory experience preferred.
· Strong knowledge of teller operations, balancing, and cash controls.
· A genuine commitment to customer service and community engagement.
· Leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate others.
· High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and relationship building skills.
