Crescent Specialty Foods is looking for reliable, hardworking, and motivated Production Workers to join our food processing team.
Production Workers are an important part of our operation and are responsible for helping safely and efficiently manufacture, package, and prepare food products according to company specifications, food safety requirements, and production schedules.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced food processing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well with a team, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in producing safe and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various production duties including preparing, processing, packaging, labeling, and handling food products.
- Follow established production procedures, work instructions, and product specifications.
- Safely operate production equipment and machinery after receiving proper training.
- Assemble and prepare products according to recipes and production requirements.
- Accurately weigh and portion ingredients and finished products as required.
- Inspect products for quality, appearance, packaging, labeling, and proper portion size.
- Maintain proper product identification and lot traceability throughout production.
- Follow all GMPs, food safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Follow proper handwashing, personal hygiene, PPE, and employee safety requirements.
- Report damaged equipment, product issues, foreign materials, contamination concerns, or other problems to a supervisor immediately.
- Follow instructions from Production Supervisors, QA, and management.
