- Lead daily kitchen operations and maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation
- Lead, coach, train, and develop back-of-house team members
- Maintain a hands-on leadership presence and support the team during high-volume service
- Ensure food is prepared and executed according to recipes, specifications, and company standards
- Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and kitchen organization
- Support inventory management, ordering, food cost, portion control, and waste reduction
- Support kitchen scheduling and labor management based on business needs
- Monitor kitchen equipment and communicate maintenance or repair needs
- Partner closely with front-of-house and restaurant leadership to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience
- Lead by example and help create a positive, accountable, and team-focused kitchen culture
- Restaurant kitchen leadership or management experience
- Strong cooking, preparation, and culinary execution skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a back-of-house team
- Understanding of food cost, inventory, waste control, and kitchen labor management
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
