Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Shipping Administrator is responsible for the accurate and efficient coordination of all orders being shipped from the warehouse.
Essential Functions:
- Check in truck drivers, match pick up number to order number, and assign the appropriate dock.
- Create master bill of lading and print shipping, FedEx, UPS labels, and pick tickets.
- Maintain status of orders on Open Dock, scan and mark orders as shipped once loads are completed.
- Assign loads to forklift operators and ensure they are loaded within the two-hour timeframe.
- Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor on shipping related issues and correct shipping errors.
- Utilize MS Office programs to complete reports and documentation.
- Complete warehouse floor walks to ensure labeling/loading is being completed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to complete day-to-day activities in allotted amount of time.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand, and move about the facility for extended periods of time.
Competencies:
- Education: High school Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: Prior shipping experience preferred.
