Truck Loader - Searcy AR
I. Job Description: Responsible for preparing trailers for loading finished product for shipments and verifying the accuracy of customer orders being shipped.
II. Qualifications:
1. Must be self-motivated with the ability to achieve desired objectives.
2. Must be licensed, or have the ability to be licensed, in the use of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, case pick lifts, and hand jacks.
3. Must have basic mathematical skills.
4. Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
III. Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. continuously during scheduled shift
2. Must be able to tolerate temperatures between 33 degrees and 40 degrees for the duration of scheduled shift.
3. Must be able to tolerate a temperature of 0 degrees for up to two hours of scheduled shift.
4. Walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing required for up to six hours of scheduled shift.
5. Must weigh less than 375 pounds in order to be able to wear fall protection.
IV. General Responsibilities:
1. Remove pallets and wash out trailers before loading.
2. Set trailer cooling unit at appropriate temperature.
3. Load trailers in an orderly manner as specified, making decisions on stacking combinations for palletized loads.
4. Verify shipments for correct product codes and case counts and make appropriate documentation on loading paperwork.
5. Make scans to product on inbound and outbounds loads.
6. Stretch wrap products for shipment as required.
7. Apply shipping labels to products as required.
8. Sort usable from non-usable pallets while loading.
9. Remove damaged or retained product from inventory.
10. Maintain proper cleanliness and FIFO rotation of finished product coolers and other departmental areas.
11. Load and unload products for transfer to and from external warehouses. Make appropriate inventory transactions.
12. Assist in staging, freezer, and drop zone operations as required.
13. Follow all safety rules and procedures.
14. Responsible for adhering to all food safety, quality and GMP procedures specific to this position

1. Forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, case pick lifts, and hand jacks.
2. Automatic pallet wrapper.
