- Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems including Windows and macOS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to productivity applications such as Microsoft Office and specialized enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy.
- Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals to ensure they operate at peak performance.
- Maintain and support computer networks by configuring and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, TCP/IP protocols, DNS settings, VPN connections, firewalls, and network equipment such as Meraki devices.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Windows Server environments, Linux systems, and network services to ensure security and efficiency.
- Support IT infrastructure management tasks including server maintenance with Microsoft Windows Server environments and BMC Remedy ticketing system for issue tracking.
- Assist with computer management tasks such as software deployment via SCCM, hardware upgrades, system imaging, and asset inventory control.
- Conduct analysis of recurring issues to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
- Document all support activities thoroughly in help desk systems like ServiceNow or Jira while maintaining clear communication with users throughout the resolution process.
- Support remote users by configuring VPNs and troubleshooting connectivity issues on mobile devices or remote desktops.
- Collaborate with network administration teams to optimize LAN/WAN performance and security protocols.
- Proven experience providing IT support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on desktop support and help desk operations.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, Linux distributions, and their respective troubleshooting procedures.
- Hands-on experience managing computer networks involving TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, DHCP setup, VPNs, firewalls (including Cisco Meraki), and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Familiarity with enterprise management tools such as SCCM for software deployment and asset management.
- Experience working with Active Directory for user account management along with Group Policy configuration for security policies.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware components including motherboards, hard drives, memory modules, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals effectively.
- Knowledge of network security practices including firewall configuration and monitoring network traffic for anomalies.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach to assist users at all levels confidently.
