About the Role
Furniture.com is creating a new way to discover, decide on, and purchase furniture online — blending the inspiration of content with the functionality of consumer tech. We’re looking for a Brand Manager to be the strategic right hand to our AVP of Brand & Creative.
This role blends brand storytelling, integrated campaign orchestration, and consumer tech GTM expertise. You’ll manage campaigns end-to-end, work cross-functionally with product and paid marketing, and ensure every launch feels cohesive, compelling, and culturally relevant. You’ll also manage our Marketing Associate and freelance copywriters, making sure execution matches vision.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Storytelling
- Ensure consistency of brand identity and messaging across all channels.
- Translate product innovation into compelling consumer-facing narratives.
- Partner with creative, social, and copy teams to bring campaigns to life.
Integrated Marketing & GTM Campaigns
- Lead go-to-market planning for product features, launches, and consumer-facing experiences.
- Build and manage integrated campaign calendars tied to both brand moments and product milestones.
- Act as campaign driver: managing timelines, briefs, approvals, and deliverables across creative, product marketing, and paid teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Marketing to align messaging and positioning of our tech-driven shopping experience.
- Partner with Paid Media Manager to ensure paid, organic, and product launches work in sync.
- Coordinate with agencies (PR, influencer, creative) for amplification.
Team & Vendor Management
- Manage and mentor our Marketing Associate (Riley), helping grow their channel and execution skills.
- Oversee freelance copywriters to deliver sharp, on-brand, and conversion-minded messaging.
- Guide cross-functional partners to ensure storytelling feels unified.
Performance & Insights
- Work with growth manager and agencies to deliver campaign recaps with insights to inform future launches.
- Identify opportunities to sharpen channel mix, positioning, and storytelling.
What We’re Looking For
- 6–8 years in brand marketing, integrated marketing, or product/consumer tech marketing.
- Experience launching consumer tech or platform-driven products into market (GTM planning execution).
- Skilled at translating complex product features into clear, consumer-friendly storytelling.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to run campaigns from concept to launch.
- Experience managing teams (direct reports, freelancers, or agencies).
- A balance of creative instincts and data-driven decision making.
- Excitement for both consumer technology and the home furnishings/lifestyle industry.
