Head of Product (VP Level) – AI Wealth Management Platform
Location: McLean, VA — 5 days/week in office (no exceptions)
Stage: Series B, Consumer Fintech
I’m partnering with a fast-growing Series B fintech that’s reinventing how high-income millennials manage their money through an AI-powered wealth management platform. They’ve spent the last few years perfecting a hybrid human AI model, and are now building toward full autonomy — think the Uber → Waymo evolution of financial advising.
This is a rare opportunity to lead product at the inflection point: a complex, regulated consumer environment where systems thinking, precision, and exceptional UX design are absolutely essential.
The Role
The team is looking for a Head of Product (VP level) to lead and scale a growing product organization as they transition from a human-in-the-loop model to a fully automated AI-driven platform.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Setting the long-term product vision and roadmap across the core AI wealth platform
- Managing and growing a team of PMs, designers, and cross-functional partners
- Navigating a regulated environment (SEC/FINRA) while still shipping fast
- Partnering closely with engineering and AI teams to build autonomous financial decision-making systems
- Driving consumer trust, personalization, and retention through world-class UX
This role sits at the intersection of consumer finance, AI, compliance, and design — perfect for someone who’s excited by complex systems and building delightful, trustworthy experiences.
Ideal Background
- 12–15 years leading consumer product organizations
- A track record of managing multi-disciplinary product teams at scale
- Strong technical fluency (AI/ML experience is a plus, but not required)
- Fintech or other regulated consumer experience helpful
- Experience scaling from Series C → D or equivalent hypergrowth (e.g., early Robinhood, Chime, Revolut, Wealthfront)
Location
This is a full-time, in-office role based in McLean, VA.
