Major Function
This associate will be responsible for material moving to accommodate manufacturing needs.
Essential Functions
- Using a standard stand-up reach truck and/or sit down fork truck, inventory must be moved to machine operators at various work centers.
- Additional responsibilities to include: assist with the activities of shipping/receiving
- Maintain accurate inventories
- Work within Warehouse Management System (Plex) to track inventories and shipments.
- Be able to work independently in meeting the stated position objectives with minimal direction.
- Be able to manage daily activities to meet production schedules and other company objectives.
- Be able to identify problems independently and implement common sense approaches to solutions with minimal direction.
- Be able to work as a “Team” with fellow associates.
- 2 years of reach truck experience preferred.
- 2 years working in WMS system
- Hold or obtain forklift driver certification.
