Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role on the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate payments to our clients’ vendors and suppliers. This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Someone who is experienced with the property management industry or multi-entity accounting will be best suited for this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Process Invoices and Payments: Accurately process a high volume of invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Reconcile Accounts: Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to build and maintain positive relationships, answering inquiries and resolving payment issues.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare relevant reports.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the property management or real estate industry.
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000
