VP of Business Development

Our agency client is seeking a VP of Business Development with a focus on Key Art to join their team, full-time. This role is hybrid, with 2 days onsite in Mid-City LA.

This is a new position with the team. You will be expected to play a key role in building new business, bringing existing relationships to the table, and continuing to build on past business relationships.

MUST come from the key art, entertainment, network, film, and/or agency space to be considered.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 
- Drive new business by securing high-value Key Art projects across film, television, and streaming
- Identify, develop, and close new Key Art opportunities that directly impact revenue growth
- Build and deepen relationships with studios, streamers, networks, producers, filmmakers, and agency partners
- Develop and manage a strong, active sales pipeline
- Lead pitching efforts and close new business opportunities
- Partner closely with creative leadership to position the company effectively in the marketplace
- Identify and cultivate long-term, repeat client relationships
- Represent the company at key industry events, premieres, and conferences (e.g., Digital Hollywood)
- Deliver against defined revenue targets and growth goals
- Contribute directly to the overall growth and expansion of the business

WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 
- Existing relationships within studios, streamers, and entertainment marketing teams
- Professional background from a key art agency, trailer house, or studio marketing team
- Proven ability to build relationships, open doors, and close deals
- Demonstrated track record of originating and securing new business
- Strong strategic thinking skills with a clear understanding of creative positioning and brand storytelling
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
