Vice President of Product Design
Remote (U.S.) | Full-Time
A fast-growing digital health company is seeking a Vice President of Product Design to elevate user experience as a core strategic differentiator and to define how AI shows up across both the participant experience and internal design workflows.
This role owns the overall UX and creative vision across acquisition, enrollment, and engagement, and leads an integrated Design, Creative, and Brand organization. Reporting to the SVP of Product, this leader is both a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who sets the bar and ships alongside their team.

- The client is open to candidates currently at the Director or Senior Director level who are ready to step into a VP role, provided they bring clear VP-level scope, leadership maturity, and executive presence.
What You'll Do
- Define and drive product design and UX strategy across a portfolio of digital products.
- Champion human-centered, accessible design and elevate UX as a company-wide priority.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Clinical, and Coaching teams.
- Lead the AI-enabled UX strategy, including how AI enhances participant experiences.
- Identify, pilot, and scale AI-powered tools across research, ideation, prototyping, content, and design QA, with clear guardrails for quality, trust, and accessibility.
- Own and evolve design systems, standards, and UX metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Design, Creative, and Brand team.
- Clearly communicate design vision and impact to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 10 years of product design experience, including 5 years leading design teams.
- Strong portfolio of shipped web and mobile products with measurable UX impact.
- Proven executive-level advocacy for UX as a business driver.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-enabled design tools and workflows.
- Experience leading integrated Design Creative Brand functions or comparable scope.
- Deep understanding of human-centered design, accessibility, and modern product development.
- Experience in digital health, healthcare, behavior change, or other regulated consumer domains is a plus.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary.
- Annual performance bonus target of 20%, paid in addition to base compensation.
