Overview:
Our client, a university, is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Marketing to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a strategic marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and is passionate about driving growth through integrated, data-driven campaigns. You must be able to commit to a four-day onsite schedule (Monday-Thursday) in Chicago, Minneapolis, or Baltimore to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for assigned program verticals
- Own campaign planning from brief through activation, including timelines, milestones, and launch readiness
- Develop integrated marketing plans and campaign positioning aligned with brand strategy
- Partner with product and academic teams to translate program differentiators into compelling campaigns
- Create and manage campaign calendars, briefs, and communication plans across channels
- Collaborate with channel leads (paid media, web, SEO, social, and CRM) to execute high-performing campaigns
- Maintain consistent, effective messaging across the full marketing funnel
- Own vertical messaging strategy, grounded in market trends, student demand, and competitive insights
- Monitor competitive landscape and apply insights to strengthen campaign performance
- Analyze campaign results and provide actionable recommendations to improve ROI
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, enrollment, and creative teams to ensure successful execution
- Contribute to planning cycles, creative reviews, and broader marketing initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's degree is a major plus)
- 6-8 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in product or category marketing
- Proven experience leading integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns from strategy through execution
- Strong ability to translate complex product or academic content into clear, audience-specific messaging
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and optimize campaigns
- Experience working in complex, matrixed, or regulated environments
- Embraces an AI-first approach, leveraging enterprise tools such as Copilot, Claude, and custom platforms to optimize, reimagine, and scale creative output; candidates should have hands-on experience using AI to generate ideas, enhance content, and collaborate with creative teams.
