Senior Manager, Payments & Financial Services

We are seeking a strategic and analytical business leader to support and expand embedded financial products serving domestic and international marketplace sellers. This role will own business operations, performance management, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across seller payment, wallet, and capital solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong operational expertise, analytical problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric mindset to drive product adoption, optimize seller experiences, and support business growth. This position will partner closely with Product, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, Risk, and Customer Support teams to enhance financial services offerings and deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day business operations for seller financial products, including wallet, payments, and capital solutions.
• Manage seller lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and operational support activities.
• Leverage customer feedback, operational data, and analytics to identify opportunities for product and service improvements.
• Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct business reviews and present insights, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Perform market, customer, and business analysis to identify growth opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
• Use SQL, Python, and other analytical tools to derive insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead initiatives focused on operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex business challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Independently define and solve ambiguous problems while balancing strategic objectives and operational priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Strategy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in B2B payments, financial technology (FinTech), eCommerce, financial services, marketplace operations, or a related industry.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
• Experience managing business operations, product performance, program management, or strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, develop insights, and drive business decisions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Experience working cross-functionally and leading initiatives through influence rather than direct authority.
• Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Experience supporting seller, merchant, marketplace, payments, lending, wallet, or other financial products is highly preferred.
