Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Marketing Operations oversees the systems, workflows, production coordination, and operational infrastructure that support a fast-paced nonprofit marketing and communications department. Serving as the operational backbone of the team, this role ensures projects move efficiently from concept through execution.
This leader combines project management, vendor oversight, production coordination, marketing technology administration, workflow management, and process optimization to deliver high-impact marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, donor engagement, fundraising, and mission visibility.
The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized project manager and operational leader who is also a strong writer and communicator, capable of contributing to content development while ensuring clarity, accuracy, consistency, and operational excellence across all marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
Oversee the organizational email calendar (national and regional) to ensure strategic coordination, audience pacing, and timely execution.
Manage the end-to-end production workflow for all marketing emails, including scheduling, asset collection, approvals, testing, deployment coordination, and quality control.
Monitor timelines and production schedules to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Collaborate on content development.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure email communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Marketing Operations and Workflow Management
Manage departmental traffic flow to ensure projects are completed on time and at the highest quality standards.
Develop and maintain integrated marketing calendars across campaigns, events, fundraising initiatives, digital communications, and emergency response efforts.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between Marketing and other departments.
Partner closely with development teams to support their needs for assets and information.
Provide project management leadership across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Supervise select members of the Marketing Team.
Marketing Technology and Systems
Help oversee marketing systems and platforms, including project management tools, digital asset management systems, and analytics dashboards.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure operational efficiency, workflow consistency, and data integrity.
Support the organization and management of digital assets, production workflows, and marketing operations systems.
Create and manage online website registration pages and event postings.
Serve as the organizational lead for virtual and hybrid meeting platforms (Zoom), ensuring seamless execution for donor-facing webinars and board presentations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing operations, including project management.
Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred; familiarity with Jewish communal or Israel-focused fundraising environments is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail, tone, accuracy, and messaging consistency.
Strong editorial judgment and ability to review marketing materials, donor communications, email campaigns, and production content for clarity and quality.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, external vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with sharp attention to detail.
Proven project management experience overseeing complex, deadline-driven workflows.
Experience managing external vendors, agencies, and production schedules.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, digital marketing workflows, and project management software.
Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

QR code creation, tracking, and management
Event ticketing platforms
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
