Senior Manager, Influencer & Affiliate Marketing

Our retail client is looking for a Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Manager to join their team Full-Time.

This is a hybrid on-site role in Columbus, Ohio. There is remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. Our client is open to both an in-house or agency background and would consider candidates who are willing to relocate to Columbus. Ideally, you will have experience in retail, fashion, or beauty. 

This Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of all things related to influencer/creator & affiliate marketing work. You are responsible for incubating, developing, and engaging an ecosystem of storytellers to communicate about key campaigns, brand moments, products, cause and purpose initiatives, etc.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for overseeing influencer & creator campaigns from strategy to execution and performance analysis, some managed internally and some supported with external agencies.
• Assist in the seasonal brand planning process as a subject matter expert in creator marketing, inclusive of influencer, affiliate, and advocacy.
• Responsible for strategic management of the brand creator program and future growth.
• Oversee creator & content affiliate programs, understanding how to leverage affiliate ecosystems to drive business results.
• Represent the brand at photoshoots and events where applicable.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for continued growth and evolution of brand advocacy strategies and tactics.
• Understand how to navigate and identify whitespace at the intersection of brand culture and creators to build distinct and innovative marketing strategies.
• Heavily coordinate social channels to ensure alignment for engagement and posting strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other marketing partners, merchandising, design, etc. to ensure cohesive brand messaging as well as to ensure creator marketing deliverables and assets are integrated into other brand channels and properties.
• Work closely with the media team to ensure maximized efforts around talent and usage are being worked through paid channels.
• Regularly communicate on the impact of all efforts related to influencers and creator advocacy programs.
• Manage a team of 2 associates with a high-level of oversight, drive, and transparency.
• Responsible for tracking and managing budgets.
• Compile data for seasonal hindsight presentations.
• Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Works regularly with external agencies to build and drive industry-leading programs.
• Partner with Customer Insights team to shape research (brand health, target consumer, etc) and identify key insights and drive their integration into campaigns.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of marketing experience with a brand or agency, emphasis on influencer/creator marketing and affiliate marketing. Ideally with previous experience in Fashion, Beauty, or Retail industries. 
• Highly motivated and collaborative with a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of Tiktok shop!
• Understanding of Gen Z and the global high school teen.
• Has experience building and motivating a team.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Strategic, analytic and structured thinking ability.
