Designer (Web, Packaging, Graphic, Digital)

Position Overview
Our cosmetics client is looking for a Senior Designer, Global Creative to join their team. This is a hybrid role (onsite 2x a week) in El Segundo, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and deliverables for packaging, web, digital advertising, social assets, and print collateral that align with brand and marketing objectives.
• Design packaging structures and artwork, prepare dielines and print-ready files, and collaborate with suppliers and production teams to ensure quality and feasibility.
• Create high-fidelity web and UI assets, design responsive layouts, and hand off clear specifications to developers; optimize images and assets for performance.
• Establish and maintain typography, color, and layout systems to ensure visual consistency across channels and touchpoints.
• Collaborate closely with brand, marketing, product, and engineering teams to translate briefs into practical, on-brand design solutions.
• Present concepts and design rationale to stakeholders, collect feedback, iterate quickly, and manage approval cycles.
• Maintain organized project files, version control, and asset libraries; ensure timely delivery against project timelines and priorities.
• Stay current on design trends, beauty market aesthetics, packaging materials and finishes, and best practices for accessibility and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6 years of professional experience designing across web, packaging, graphic and digital channels, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and confidence with layout, color management, and export workflows.
• Solid understanding of typography, layout principles, and visual hierarchy, with attention to detail and polish.
• Experience with packaging artworking, dielines, print production processes, and supplier collaboration.
• Familiarity with web design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD; basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Experience or interest in the beauty industry is highly desirable, with sensitivity to trends, finishes, and consumer expectations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
