Overview of the Role: This role leads information technology strategy and execution by overseeing staff, researching and implementing technology solutions, and managing multiple initiatives across the full project lifecycle. The position partners closely with business stakeholders to align technology investments with organizational goals while ensuring operational effectiveness, security, and quality standards.

The Basics: Duration: Contract or long-term engagement, based on project and organizational needs. Hours per Week: Full-time commitment, approximately 40 hours per week. Location Requirements: Onsite, hybrid, or remote depending on team and project requirements; collaboration with internal user departments is expected. Equipment: Standard business IT equipment required; organization-provided or personal equipment may be used in accordance with security and control policies.

Top 3 Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects across multiple workstreams, including planning, execution, and delivery
• PMP certification with demonstrated ability to apply formal project management methodologies
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, information security controls, and risk mitigation practices

Other Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; prior experience in the IT industry with exposure to software development and customer or stakeholder interaction; ability to manage budgets, forecast requirements, and analyze financial variances; strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for implementing information technology solutions
• Manage the full lifecycle of multiple IT projects, from definition through implementation
• Conduct technological research aligned to organizational goals, strategies, and user needs
• Coordinate resources, timelines, and priorities with internal user departments and teams
• Verify application and system results through audits and performance reviews
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security controls
• Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating outcomes, trends, and future requirements
• Forecast technology needs, prepare and manage budgets, and initiate corrective actions as needed
• Establish, enforce, and maintain technology service and quality standards
• Stay current on evolving technologies and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement and team success
