Our automotive client is seeking a Program Manager - IT for a 12-month assignment. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Torrance, CA 5 days/week (40 hrs/week).
In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping the future of the team's solutions from ideation to launch and beyond. You'll work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and drive business impact.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead major, complex programs from initiation through implementation, coordinating efforts across internal stakeholders, professional services, and business partners.
- Translate user needs into clear product requirements and ensure alignment across engineering and design teams.
- Build and maintain program roadmaps using portfolio management tools.
- Drive delivery of technical programs or products from inception through post-launch.
- Manage competing priorities, ensuring strategic alignment and timely achievement of deliverables.
- Facilitate communication across multiple teams and present complex information clearly to executives.
- Oversee program financials, scope estimation, and risk/benefit analysis for recommendations.
- Guide teams through day-to-day challenges while keeping focus on the big-picture customer problem.
- Foster strong partner relationships and influence key stakeholders to achieve program goals.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science or relevant experience.
- 10 years of management experience leading technology solution implementations, business process improvements, and customer experience initiatives.
- Proven track record in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Expertise in mobile and web digital business programs.
- Experience managing programs in payments, subscriptions, or e-commerce.
- Strong IT and customer-centric mindset to deliver seamless experiences.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to synthesize information quickly and deliver practical, effective initiatives.
- Deep understanding of transactional UX, payment flows, and subscription lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to build strategic and tactical plans, weigh risks, and create business justifications.
- Skilled in roadmap planning and portfolio management.
- Proven ability to operate across multiple teams and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, both strategic and tactical.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
