What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Designer position at Creative Circle?
Our client in the financial industry is looking for a Production Designer.
High-level details:
- Location: Fully Remote
- Hours/week: 20 hours/week for the first 30-60 days, then will ramp up to 40 hours/week
- Start date: targeting mid to end of June 2026
- End Date: through 10/31/26 with likelihood to extend
- Equipment: you will need to provide your own. You must have your own Adobe Creative Suite account.
Primary Responsibilities:
- As Production Designer, you will be responsible for the design and execution of a variety of print and digital deliverables. Examples you will work on include legal documents, social media posts, brochures, invitations and fliers. The creative turnaround time is typically 2-3 days, and you will primarily work in Adobe InDesign, with some Photoshop and Illustrator tasks.
- You will work alongside a Copywriter / Editor, and work with their in-house Project Manager for deadline and timeline management.
The ideal candidate:
- Junior to mid-level Designer; someone newer in their career that is excited to learn and grow!
- Experience and comfort in production design of both print and digital deliverables.
- Comfortable working in a flex capacity; work will not be steady day to day.
- Experience working within brand guidelines
- Must have your own Adobe Creative Suite account
- Must have experience in Workfront. This client has a complex Workfront, and they are looking for someone that can jump right in.
- Experience with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system is helpful, but not required. This client uses Widen as their DAM.
- Financial industry experience is preferred*
Soft Skills the client is looking for:
- Attention to detail - there will be times where quick edits need to be made, timelines / job priorities change, and the goal is to get the task done right in Round 1, for little to no edits.
- Not afraid to ask questions, speak up when you are near or at bandwidth
This position is with Creative360 (C360), Creative Circle's managed services division. C360 builds and manages creative and marketing teams and dedicated studios on behalf of our clients. A C360 Engagement Lead will oversee the scope, deliverables, reporting and operations support, so you can focus on the things you do best!
