What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production / Creative Project Manager position at Creative Circle?
Our well-known retail client is seeking a Production / Creative Project Manager in a new role supporting Creative Production leaders.
This assignment will is part-time around 20 hours a week. Client would need you to be able to come onsite as needed for shoots and support Tues-Thur. (~20 hrs/ week, Tues - Thurs). There is a possibility that the hours could increase eventually, but not guaranteed.
Production / Creative Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Monitor Airtable PM system for new creative briefs. QA briefs to ensure they're complete, clear, and actionable before intake.
- Help prioritize incoming work with creative leadership and ensure full team visibility. Partner with our internal creative team on best approaches to tackle all small to mid-size projects across in-store, digital, design, copy, photo, and video.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams briefing in projects (brand, partner marketing, etc.) to drive clarity around project expectations.
- Own timelines, workbacks, and day-to-day project tracking to keep work moving forward.
- Manage and present the weekly creative status "hot sheet" on Monday mornings; keep it updated as projects progress
- Build and maintain Creative Review decks for leadership approval weekly, based on priority projects and timelines; ensure content is ready ahead of leadership meetings. Internal Prep meetings on Tuesdays, and Leadership meetings on Wednesdays.
- Take notes during leadership and brainstorm meetings, document decisions, and share clear next steps
- Provide light production support as needed (shot lists, run of show, file uploads, approval routing)
- Support internal and agency communication during productions, helping move decisions and approvals forward
- Help maintain team's SharePoint production hub (contracts, usage, documentation)
Production / Creative Project Manager Requirements:
- 3-5 years of creative project management and production experience either in-house or at a creative agency.
- Experience working with internal creative departments and external agencies
- Retail experience nice-to-have, across footwear, apparel, etc.
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Strong communicator, comfortable with PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote. Familiarity with Project Management systems like Airtable.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
