Job Description: Product Marketing Specialist (Content Strategist/Creator)
Schedule: This role will start off at 3 days onsite a week, but as time progresses that can flex down to 1-2 days onsite
Our client, a global technology and digital data company with a mission for sustainability, is looking for a high-impact Product Marketing Specialist to join the growing marketing team of one of their key corporate partners. This role is a crucial addition focused on driving content strategy and creation for the partner's expanding, specialized business lines.
They are seeking a diligent professional who possesses both strategic planning capabilities and exceptional copywriting skill to tell technical stories effectively and achieve immediate business impact.
Core Responsibilities and Mandate:
- Integrated Strategy Development: You will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive, integrated marketing and content strategies tailored specifically to complex business needs.
- Content Storytelling and Creation: Serve as the primary copywriter and storyteller, collaborating extensively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define, hone, and translate technical concepts into persuasive marketing narratives. Deliverables include:
- Developing detailed storyboards and writing compelling case studies/success stories.
- Crafting advertisements and promotional copy.
- Producing complete, step-by-step integrated marketing plans.
- Audience Expertise: Conduct thorough market research and audience assessments to establish precise messaging frameworks, positioning, and competitive differentiation for highly technical and corporate clientele.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Operate in a highly collaborative environment, working directly with key business stakeholders and partnering closely with the Digital Marketing, Creative, Live Motion, and Animator teams to bring the content to life.
- Distribution Ownership: Manage the effective distribution of created content to ensure maximum reach and achievement of business objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Product Marketing Acumen: Proven, deep experience in Product Marketing and content strategy is essential, demonstrating the ability to bridge technical solutions with market demand.
- Copywriting Mastery: Exceptional copywriting skills are required, with a track record of crafting narratives that resonate with B2B/corporate audiences.
- Industry Experience: Direct experience within the Oil & Gas industry is a significant advantage, reflecting the corporate and technical nature of our client's customer base.
- Strategic Campaign Experience: Demonstrated success in developing, executing, and measuring complex integrated marketing campaigns is a must.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to grasp complex, technical concepts (like HPC and Data) and distill them into clear, engaging marketing stories.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
