PR Manager

PR Manager - Freelance-to-Full-Time

Our client is seeking a PR Manager for a 40-hour/week freelance role with the potential to convert to full-time. This position requires being onsite in their Coppell office four days per week. The PR Manager will lead the national PR strategy, manage external agencies, oversee social media, and help shape the brand's public presence across PR and social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead national PR initiatives and manage agency partners
• Build and maintain strong media relationships; pitch earned media opportunities
• Create press materials (releases, pitches, briefing docs)
• Oversee crisis communications and reputation management
• Monitor social trends and cultural moments to drive engagement
• Track and report social metrics (engagement, reach, sentiment, SOV)
• Ensure consistent brand voice across all public channels
• Align PR and social timing with broader campaign calendars

Requirements:

• 5 years of PR and social media experience, ideally with entertainment, experiential, or consumer brands
• Proven media relations and pitching success
• Demonstrated success managing and growing a brand's social media presence
• Strong writing, communication, and strategic storytelling skills
• Experience managing agencies and navigating fast-moving environments

 

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
