Position Overview
Our client, a kitchen appliance brand with a global presence, is seeking a contract Marketing Manager to lead integrated marketing efforts that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across digital channels. This is a high-impact contract opportunity for a data-driven marketer with strong paid media expertise, social fluency, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Details
- Location: New York, New York (onsite Tuesday-Thursday)
- Freelance/W-2 Contract (temporary leave coverage)
- Start Date: July 13th, 2026
- 32 hours/week from mid-July through August, then 40 hours/week from September through January
- Requires your own computer
Key Responsibilities
- Own paid media execution and agency management: Lead day-to-day engagement with external paid media partners, providing direction, approvals, and performance oversight.
- Drive paid media social performance: Analyze, optimize, and evolve campaigns across digital channels to improve awareness, engagement, and conversion metrics in real time.
- Shape and execute integrated marketing strategies: Deliver cohesive campaigns across paid media, social, influencer, email, partnerships, and seasonal initiatives to grow brand awareness and loyalty.
- Lead influencer and social ecosystem efforts: Apply deep knowledge of social platforms and the influencer landscape to build impactful partnerships that drive engagement and purchase intent.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with internal teams including Brand, Ecommerce, Sales, Product Development, and Design to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
- Support retail marketing and sell-in storytelling: Develop compelling narratives and insights to support retail initiatives, product launches, and commercialization efforts.
- Leverage insights to optimize strategy: Use consumer research, analytics, and channel performance data to refine messaging, targeting, and content strategies.
- Manage marketing operations and planning: Maintain marketing calendars, support budget tracking, and ensure seamless execution across campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in brand and digital marketing
- Proven success managing paid media and social campaigns
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing and social platforms
- Experience working with and managing external agencies
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in marketing performance metrics and tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with experience building compelling brand and retail stories
- Bachelor's degree required
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
