Marketing Director

Tempe, AZ (Onsite 5 Days per Week)

Our client in the lifestyle industry is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and grow a high-impact marketing function. This role offers the opportunity to drive integrated marketing strategies, lead product launches, support channel partner initiatives, and build a scalable marketing organization while remaining actively involved in execution.

We're especially interested in marketing leaders who have experience with lifestyle, action sports, enthusiast, consumer, or culturally influential brands and understand how to build strong connections with passionate customer communities. Experience supporting brands with a retail presence, sponsorships, events, dealer networks, distributors, or channel partners is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integrated marketing campaigns across brand, product, digital, retail, and channel marketing initiatives
• Manage, mentor, and develop a growing marketing team
• Partner with product, sales, creative, and leadership teams to drive business growth
• Oversee advertising, paid media, content marketing, trade shows, promotional campaigns, sales collateral, and packaging initiatives
• Lead product launch planning and execution from concept through go-to-market delivery
• Drive customer engagement and demand generation efforts across digital channels
• Support dealer, distributor, retail, OEM, and channel partner marketing programs
• Help build marketing processes, structure, reporting, and team scalability
• Develop marketing strategies while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution

Qualifications

• 5 years of marketing experience, preferably within a lifestyle, consumer, retail, enthusiast, action sports, or product-driven brand - Please call out this experience when applying. 
• Well-rounded background across brand, product, digital, creative, and promotional marketing
• Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives
• Background supporting brands with passionate customer communities, retail distribution, sponsorships, events, dealer networks, or channel partner programs strongly preferred
• Exposure to dealer, distributor, retail, OEM, or channel-based marketing environments preferred
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, paid media, and demand generation
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and leading marketing talent
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Ability to work onsite in Tempe, AZ five days per week
