Our client, a well-known insurance company, is seeking a Marketing Content Writer to create marketing content and to produce email copy in support of the company's financial protection business. This position on the Enterprise Content Team will plan, develop, and manage production of content, including emails, sales enablement materials like social posts and video scripts, landing pages, newsletters, and presentations. The content and email producer will collaborate with colleagues across a range of functional areas within Enterprise Marketing and Communications.

You Have
- Exceptional writing and content production skills across different formats and content types, including email, social media, and more.
- Ability to interpret data and apply insights to improve content performance.
- Mastery of digital content best practices.
- Understanding of customer journey mapping and behavioral triggers.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity writing for email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
- In-depth knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization. Specifically in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email, understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other regulatory requirements in email marketing, and experience with marketing automation and CRM tools, allowing you to write efficiently for different channels.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional writing experience, with a focus on email marketing.
- 2 years of experience in the life insurance, financial services, or fintech sectors.
- Atomize content (research, white papers, webinars, interviews) to create a range of related assets to support marketing campaigns (emails, landing pages, videos, social posts, infographics, etc.).
- Create and manage content for consumer-facing pages
- Write sales enablement materials for our financial professionals to share, and contribute to newsletters for financial professionals and consumers.
- Write, edit, and optimize content for audience engagement and conversion for lead generation, nurturing, onboarding, retention, and cross-sell campaigns.
- Collaborate with analytics and marketing operations to monitor email performance metrics such as open rate, CTR, conversion rate, bounce rate, and unsubscribe rate and make data-backed content recommendations.
- Work closely with email developers, creative team, and campaign managers to ensure emails are visually engaging, on-brand, and mobile-friendly.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all content meets industry regulations and brand standards.
- Stay up to date on email marketing trends, compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR), deliverability strategies, and content optimization.
