Duration: Ongoing contract; initial 6 months with potential to extend
Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Tues & Wednesday, Remote Mon, Thurs & Fri
Hours per week: 40 hours (8:30-5p daily w/a 30 minute lunch)
Pay Range: $30-$35 per hour (W2)
Job Description
Our client, located in Norcross, GA, has an exciting hybrid freelance opportunity for a Graphic Designer with strong branding design and conceptual skills. This role supports B2B-focused creative initiatives across print and digital channels primarily focused on catalogues, email layouts, social media, brochures, flyers etc.
Key Technical Skills (Hard Skills)
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including: Photoshop (image editing), Illustrator (vector design), InDesign (layout and production)
- Typography: Strong understanding of font selection, kerning, leading, and tracking to ensure readability and visual impact
- Branding and Identity: Experience developing cohesive visual identities, including logos and brand guidelines
- Layout and Composition: Solid grasp of grid systems, visual hierarchy, and balanced layouts for both print and digital assets
- Digital Design: Working knowledge of email design, web design fundamentals, and social media graphics
Core Creative and Conceptual Skills
- Idea Generation: Ability to brainstorm, sketch, and develop creative concepts from a brief
- Visual Communication: Skilled at translating complex ideas into clear, compelling visuals
- Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver fast, high-quality creative solutions
Essential Soft Skills
- Strong B2B design experience preferred
- Excellent communication and listening skills; able to articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight delivery timelines
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
